 Disappearing 9 Patch

Sewing the Second Set of Squares

I am getting really close to being done with the disappearing 9 patch, especially now that the top of the quilt has been sewn up.

I started by sewing the blocks into four strips, then stitched each strip together.

Once the strips were all sewn together, all that was left to do was iron, then the top was done.

I finished trimming down the 3 inch squares from the second week, then started to arrange them.

I eventually decided on a simple diagonal pattern.

Once the squares are sewn together, they should make a block perfect for the front of a pillow case. The back will be made out of the same fabric that is used to back the quilt, which I will be getting soon.
